Clos Cachet is thrilled to invite you to attend our intimate wine tasting with Alex Rougeot, founder & director of Clos Cachet. Alex is a sixth generation vigneron from the famed village of Meursault in Burgundy and a great ambassador of each of France’s wine regions.

The majestic Rhône Valley: Focus on the mighty Saint-Joseph and Saint-Péray appellations
Commencing with a delightful glass of Champagne Dehours, Alex will take you on a tour of the Rhône Valley through the mighty Saint-Joseph and Saint-Péray appellations.
We’ll take this opportunity to have a look at the newly received whites and reds from the 2016 vintage as well as comparing the same wine in three different vintages (2014, 2015, 2016). In order to get your excitement level to the top, we’ve prepared a superb line up of nine wines from leading producer Fabrice Gripa of esteemed Domaine Gripa.
The tasting is including the flagship and extraordinary “Le Berceau” cuvées both in red and white. This cuvée is made from the oldest vines of the Domaine planted in the lieu dit “Saint-Joseph”, the heartland of the appellation located just opposite the infamous hill of Hermitage. The vines are averaging 80 to 90 years of age with a plot comprising vines of 100+ years of age.
