As you would have heard, this year we are introducing The Grand Burgundy & Excpetional Victorian Tasting event in the lead up to La Paulée Melbourne. We will be showcasing all 23+ Burgundy and Victorian producers in the Clos Cachet portfolio, highlighting the 2023 vintage through a combination of bottle and barrel samples from each. This means you will have the opportunity to taste 70+ Burgundy cuvees direct from the producers before anyone else!
The 2023 vintage was another great success to follow on from 2022, with the perfect formula for top winemakers to produce delicious grapes ready for vinification. I am excited to try the latest from these top winemakers as 2023 saw the beginning of new cuvees and, of course, a few adaptions of classics.
From Domaine Roulot to Domaine Duroché, Samuel Billaud to Confuron-Gindre, this is an opportunity to taste your way through Burgundy, learning about the different appellations and each producer's individual cultivation and vinification styles. During the event you will have the opportunity to submit your allocation requests for each producer you wish to purchase from. This will mean we will reach out to you directly with an offer once the wines are officially released later in the year.
