Bastille Day French Festival Wine Tasting

Clos Cachet’s Director Alexandre Rougeot will be hosting two wine tastings at the Bastille Day French Festival. During the tasting you’ll have the opportunity to taste wines from Champagne, the Loire Valley, Provence and Burgundy.

When?

Sunday, the 19th of July with two sessions available. The first at 1pm and the second at 4pm.

How long?

Each tasting will last for two hours.

What?

You will discover and taste wines from the great wine regions of France. Alexandre Rougeot will present the amazing stories behind these wines as well as their wine regions.

These wines are made by premier producers, passionate about growing vines and making wines that honor and master the terroir (find the definition of “terroir” here).

The wines on tasting are:

– Champagne Pierre Paillard – Bouzy Grand Cru Brut NV – Champagne

– Domaine Minet – Pouilly-Fumé “Vieilles Vignes” 2013 – Loire Valley

– Domaine Gavoty – Rosé Tradition 2013 – Provence

– Domaine Rougeot – Bourgogne Pinot Noir “Les Lameroses” 2013 – Burgundy

– Domaine Lienhardt – Côte de Nuits “Les Essards” 2013 – Burgundy

The wines will be paired with cheese.
