Bernard Gripa - Saint-Joseph White 2021

An expressive nose of flowers, beeswax, almonds, milk caramel and anise. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity. Great volume and poise on the palate with an array of juicy fruit coating the mouth, and a vibrant, zesty finish. Drink or hold. 93 points, James Suckling. 70% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne.

Domaine Du Bouchot - Pouilly Sur Loire "Mon Village" 2022

There’s a delightful gingery edge to the citrus and ripe melon fruit on the nose, which follows through to the medium-bodied palate, colouring the wine from start to finish. A fun wine to drink now. 90 pts, James Suckling. 100% Chasselas.

Domaine Sparr - Riesling "Altenbourg" 2022

The enveloping nose of ripe pear pulls you inexorably into this generous dry riesling that marries ample fruit with a wonderful freshness. Very long, crisp and chalky finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold. 94 points, James Suckling. 100% Riesling.

Domaine Gauby - Calcinaires white 2023

Nose with notes of grapefruits, plum, orange blossom and honeysuckle. The palate has big volume with sumptuous texture and a refreshing and lingering finish. The first white of the Gauby family, incredible value for money. 50% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu, 30% Chardonnay.

Jean-Luc Jamet - Cote du Rhone white "Couzou" 2020

Scents of scorched orange zest, toasted marshmallow and white gumdrop emerge on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is plump and generous, and the wine finishes long, with a gentle edge of bitterness that provides a bit of freshness and focus. Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate. 2019 review. 60% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne, 20% Viognier.

Domaine Du Bouchot - Pouilly-Fume "Caillottes" 2022

Ripe citrus fruit, dried apricot and floral character, enriched by a dense layer of smooth minerals on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with great poise and balance, creating an intense yet at the same time relaxed mouthfeel and a long finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Classy. Drink now. 93 pts, James Suckling. 100%  Sauvignon Blanc.

Champagne Dehours - Coteaux White "Les Vignes de Mizy" 2018

The bouquet is generous and expressive, at first offering rich stone fruit, oyster shell minerals and subtle iodized tones, before light woody notes appear alongside coffee aroma. The palate is zippy and zingy with juicy citrus and stone fruits, and saline minerals on the finish. 100% Chardonnay.

Domaine Tessier - Bourgogne Chardonnay Cote D'Or 2023

The 2023 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Blanc offers tropical fruit on the nose, perhaps a little later-picked but with sufficient freshness. The palate is balanced with moderate complexity. This is a more textural Bourgogne Côte d'Or to drink over the next couple of years. Neal Martin, Vinous. 100% Chardonnay.

Domaine Rougeot - Bourgogne Chardonnay "La Monatine" nature 2022

Near Sous la Velle. A fuller, richer, nose – plenty of ripe yellow citrus – but fresh too. Extra mouth-filling and much more generous in style – I prefer the last but here’s a great full-flavoured wine! Bill Nanson, Burgundy Report. 100% Chardonnay.

Domaine 47N3E - Chablis "Cairn" 2022

Confidentially, the Chablis Cairn releases beautiful engaging floral notes, accompanied by delicate fruit. Well-balanced in terms of structure, it maintains a nice tension, minerality, and a very pleasant persistence. 100% Chardonnay.

Philippe Alliet - Chinon white 2022

Made from one-hectare parcel on clay and limestone, it is a totally dry style of white Chinon. There's a sense of silkiness on the midpalate despite no malolactic fermentation. The aromas are akin to citrus, tangy apple and pear with a delicate savoury character in the background. It is gently textural, giving a sense of licking your cheeks while racy acid provides line and freshness. The high level of concentration reflects the low yields. One of the best Chinon whites on offer. 90 pts, Rebecca Gibb, Vinous. (2021 review). 100% Chenin Blanc.

Domaine Belargus - Anjou "Ronceray" 2022

The 2022 Ronceray is derived from vines planted on the Quarts-de-Chaume appellation but vinified as dry white wine. It reveals a complex, deep bouquet with aromas of almonds, white flowers, orchard fruits and white pepper combined with a reductive character. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and satiny, it has a deep core of fruit that segues into a tense, gently austere finish. It's matured in foudres and 500-liter barrels. 90-92 points - Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate. 100% Chenin Blanc.
