For five generations, the Monroux family have been firmly established in the Bordeaux region. Antoine Monroux and his son Jules work in perfect harmony with their vineyards to enhance their terroirs and produce authentic and sincere wines. Château Franc Bigaroux is located on the south side of the Saint Emilion hills, near the famous properties of Chateau Pavie and Chateau La Gaffeliere.
Firm and lightly chewy with ripe dark fruit, yet it shows freshness and crunchiness. Chalky texture with medium to full body. 91-92 points - James Suckling.
A beautiful black cherry colour, it has an elegant roundness to its character with the Cabernet providing structure for good ageing potential.
