Red Wine Premium Collection
ROUGEOT-DUPIN - SAVIGNY-LES-BEAUNES 2019
The nose is very pretty, with notes of cherry, wild berries and soft spices. The palate is harmonious, well balanced, light bodied with silky and firm tannins. The delicacy of this wine is staggering and reveals the beautiful expression of Savigny-les-Beaune. Drink now or cellar until 2025+. 100% Pinot Noir
DOMAINE SPARR - PINOT NOIR "MONTAGNE DES ROSES" 2019
A little richer and more earth-bound than the Jardin, with deeper red berry fruit and elements of sous-bois beginning to develop. Sweet fruit attack is balanced by soft ripe tannins and well-integrated acidity, while the finish shows a complex mix of red berry fruit, rose petal and some pleasing autumnal leaves. 100% Pinot Noir.
DOMAINE LES CREISSES - "LES BRUNES" IGP PAYS D'OC 2020
Les Brunes 2020 has wonderful depth of dark, sweet fruit flavours, with black cherry and blackcurrant dominating on the nose. Cedar and cinnamon flavours evolve on the palate, with intense concentration of black fruits balancing well with the rounded, juicy tannins. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah
CHATEAU BARRAIL DU BLANC - ST EMILION GRAND CRU 2014
On the nose, Chateau Barrail du Blanc opens to a subtle nose of red fruits basket, raspberry, blackcurrant then earthy notes such as sandalwood, dry leaves, mild spices. The palate is elegant, with dark cherry, tar with a silky structure and a powerful final. It can be drunk now or cellared until 2023+. 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc.
CHATEAU LE COTEAU - MARGAUX 2019
From the southwest reaches of the appellation, the 2019 Le Coteau is a juicy, plump Margaux that should drink well right out of the gate. Ripe dark cherry, red plum, tobacco, liquorice and incense all meld together. This is an especially juicy, fruity style. I especially admire the wine's balance. Antonio Galloni, Vinous. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
BERNARD GRIPA - SAINT-JOSEPH RED 2021
Shimmering violet colour. Primary red and blue fruit aromas, along with suggestions of olive, smoked meats and cracked pepper. Offers fleshy, appealingly sweet cherry and blackberry flavours that turn spicier and firm up through the back half. Subtly chewy tannins add grip to a long smoky finish that leaves cherry and spice notes behind. 91-93 points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous. Drink now by decanting for at least 45 minutes, or cellar until 2031. 100% Syrah.
