Pithon-Paillé - Grololo Blanc 2021
A golden yellow colour, a fruity and charming nose enhanced by Sauvignon, a full and greedy mouth of Melon de Bourgogne, and a tension of Chenin.
Pithon-Paillé - Bourgueil Rouge "Graviers" 2018
Fully organic, this beautiful wine showcases a deep red colour with flavours of black fruits, leather and earthy tones. The palate is silky, very well balanced with great depth. 100% Cabernet Franc.
Austral - Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame "V" red 2019
Suave and ripe tannins, with perfect integration which offers a super silky touch on the palate first of all. An aromatic, then, of an impacting sharpness and depth, on the basket of ripe red fruits and a floral touch on the very charming peony. And finally, an ideal balance between accomplished maturity of the Cabernet while keeping a beautiful burst of fruit and freshness. 100% Cabernet Franc.
Domaine le Petit St Vincent - Saumur-Champigny "Clos Lyzieres" 2019
The bouquet opens up with dense black fruit, violet flower petals and wet forest floor, subtle leather notes which are multi-layered and deep. On the palate, the minerality goes on and melts into beautiful wild herbs and black fruit notes. There is a lot going on in this wine. 100% Cabernet Franc.
Domaine le Petit St Vincent - Saumur white "Perruchets" 2021
The bouquet is delicate, with notes of pear, almond skin, grapefruit and lemon rind. On the palate, it's a very lively wine built on a silky mineral structure. 100% Chenin Blanc.
Domaine Le Bouchot - Pouilly-Fume "MCMLV" 2020
This wine shows lots of thiol-related flavours: tropical fruit, gooseberry as well as a hint of green. It is wine with lots of texture, a sense of roundness and completeness with a sense of satisfying grip that clasps the palate on the finish. There's lovely acidity, but it's nicely balanced. 93 points, Rebecca Gibb - Vinous. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
