A superb tense and slender Chenin, with lemony, floral aromas and crazy energy. Both fine and very strong, it is one of those chenins carried by a beautiful salivating acidity which gives them a very long finish. A gastronomic wine capable of withstanding long years of cellaring. Chenin Blanc.

DOMAINE DE BEL-AIR - BEAUJOLAIS WHITE 2022

The bouquet opens up with white orchard, fresh white peach, citrus notes and light butter flavours. On the palate, the attack is round and charming with plenty of freshness to lift up all these aromas. Drink now. 100% Chardonnay.

ROUGEOT-DUPIN - BOURGOGNE CHARDONNAY 2020

The wine has a subtle nose of white stone fruit, fresh hazelnut, almond and hint of butter. It’s perfect to open when it’s young, in its first one to four years. 100% Chardonnay.

DOMAINE REGIS MINET - POUILLY-FUME "VIELLES VIGNES" 2022

This wine is showing spectacular fresh flavours of apple, blackcurrant bud, kiwi and subtle wet stone. On the palate the aromatic explodes with numerous layers of fruits driven by a mouth-watering acidity. It is perfect to drink now. Sauvignon Blanc.

DOMAINE LE BOUCHOT - POUILLY FUME "TERRES BLANCHES" 2020

The 2020 Pouilly-Fume Terres Blanches was bottled a week before tasting, so it might need to be revisited to give it a fair shot, but even at this early stage, this mid-weight style is clearly balanced with masses of refreshment. Partial malo has lent additional softness to the palate, which is reminiscent of pear fruit and a whiff of white pepper. Excellent structural tension on the finish. DOMAINE SPARR - RIESLING "SENTIMENT" 2020

Full of very ripe citrus (including pomelo and bergamot) and pineapple. This is a generous and beautifully proportioned Alsace dry riesling with a wonderful balance of depth and freshness.
