Jean-Luc Jamet - Cote du Rhone white "Couzou" 2020

Scents of scorched orange zest, toasted marshmallow and white gumdrop emerge on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is plump and generous, and the wine finishes long, with a gentle edge of bitterness that provides a bit of freshness and focus. Philippe Alliet - Chinon white 2022

Made from one-hectare parcel on clay and limestone, it is a totally dry style of white Chinon. There's a sense of silkiness on the midpalate despite no malolactic fermentation. The aromas are akin to citrus, tangy apple and pear with a delicate savoury character in the background. It is gently textural, giving a sense of licking your cheeks while racy acid provides line and freshness. The high level of concentration reflects the low yields. Domaine Belargus - Savennieres "Gaudrets" 2022 

Belargus’s 2021 Savennières Les Gaudrets has turned out beautifully, evoking aromas of white fruits, ripe orchard fruits, spices and spring flowers intertwined with oak hints. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated, fleshy and textural, it’s enveloping and deep with a toasty, ethereal finish.
