Orange Wine Pack

MAISON ADVINAM - ALLUMEE ORANGE 2023

Six months maceration of destemmed Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon from Périgord. Crushing by hand and foot. Only native yeasts are used, followed by three months aging in 300L barrels and 750L amphorae after pressing and blending. No filtration.

The nose is very fresh and vibrant with notes of citrus, orange peel, white flowers, acacia, hints of fresh honey and sap. The palate is dynamic, light bodied, with fresh fruits, and a refreshing, balanced finish. The fruit sweetness is balanced out by dry extracts, and a light bitterness, in great harmony. Drink now by decanting for at least 20 minutes. Sauvignon Blanc & Sémillon.

DOMAINE DU BOUCHOT - POUILLY-FUME "ORANGE BIO" 2021

Harvested by hand and vinified naturally, the full berries are macerated for 6 months in barrel. Then gentle pressing with 6 months of ageing in the same barrels. Light filtration, with a micro-dose of sulphur to protect the wine.

From the “normal white” colour in the glass, you might not guess that this was an orange wine, but once you start on it you’ll get it. Concentrated bead of red-peach and spicy flavours and plenty of drive though the medium-bodied palate. Structured and slightly tannic, as befits the category. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Lots of character. Hard not to like this. Enjoy now. 92 pts, James Suckling. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

DOMAINE SPARR - VIN ORANGE "FAROUCHE" 2021

Manual, stripping and maceration for 20 days. Traditional with native yeasts, ageing in oak barrels for 12 months. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. No sulphites added. Unfiltered.

The attractive nose of quince paste and bread dough pulls you into this excellent orange wine that has a marvellous balance of moderately dry tannins and restrained richness.
