BOUZY GRAND CRU "LES PARCELLES" NV

The NV Extra Brut Les Parcelles Bouzy Grand Cru is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay picked in Bouzy and barrel-fermented. A touch of smoky plum hits the nose first. This fruit is far more expressive on the palate, presenting crunchy blue plum flavours dispersed by frothy yet gentle mousse. Lovely saltiness and freshness give and edge to this youthful and fruit-driven wine. Zero dosage. Anne Krebiehl, Vinous.

"We very much like these Champagnes that combine the restraint and the finesse with brightness and luster." - RVF 2023

BOUZY GRAND CRU "LES TERRES ROSES" NV

The NV Extra Brut Les Terres Roses Bouzy Grand Cru is a blend of 64% Chardonnay and 36% Pinot Noir, 5% of which were vinified as red wine, all harvested in Bouzy and barrel-fermented. Juicy plum and red apple feature openly on the nose of this medium pink wine. The palate is creamy and holds just a trace of salty short crust pastry. There is so much fruit here, and such easy-going, frothy mousse that this ends up being a joyous, fruit-focused and youthful apero style that finishes with a touch of marzipan. Zero dosage. Anne Krebiehl, Vinous.

A serious, elegant rosé Champagne with a creamy, toasty nose. It's full and voluptuous in the mouth, with rich buttery brioche characters. As the palate evolves, the wine's freshness comes through, sweeping in with lemon and grapefruit and underpinning that cherry and almond frangipane richness with tense power. - Decanter

BOUZY GRAND CRU "LES MAILLERETTES" 2018

"The 2018 Extra Brut Les Maillerettes Bouzy Grand Cru is from the eponymous parcel of 1970-planted Pinot Noir wines in Bouzy. Barrel-fermented followed by tirage under natural cork. Tart red apple and juicy red plum are enticing on the nose of this golden wine, slightly clouded in smoke. The palate immediately foams with fine, elegant mousse, allowing glimpses of depth, structure and purity of fruit that seems to delve deep into the soil. Focus, depth and poise are given here. This is resonant and youthful, fresh and foamy, classy and long with a precise and clean finish. I cannot help but think that more time on lees would have turned this into an absolute marvel. Zero dosage." 93 points - Anne Krebiehl, Vinous.

"One of the most highly regarded pinot noir vineyards in Champagne." Peter Liem, award-winning author

BOUZY GRAND CRU "LES MOTTELETTES" 2018

Les Mottelettes is a single vineyard Champagne made from old, massal selection chardonnay vines planted in 1961 and offers a full-bodied, rich but pure expression of chardonnay grown on the warm South facing slope of Bouzy. Les Mottelettes was fermented in oak, bottled under cork for the second fermentation and has spent 4 years on lees before disgorgement. 3 416 bottles, 150 magnums and 15 jeroboams were produced. Dosage: 0 gr/l.

"Chardonnay can thrive in Bouzy too, making wines of great personality, although in general it prefers vintages without excessive heat. Old vines, such as those planted in 1961 in Les Mottelettes, can produce mouthfilling, vividly chalk-driven wines, while offering an entirely different expression than the chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs." - Peter Liem

PREMIER CRU "LUDES" 2018

"The 2018 Extra Brut Ludes Premier Cru was picked in two parcels of Pinot Meunier in Ludes and fermented in oak with tirage under natural cork. Cream, plum and smoldering candle unite into a rather enticing nose. The mousse is still frothy and bold on this youthful wine, but the underlying fruit is pure and expressive. A slight phenolic edge adds texture and makes this into a slightly rustic offering that comes with a kind of wild charm and the relative looseness of 2018. Zero dosage." 90 points - Anne Krebiehl, Vinous.

This creates Meunier that’s unusually racy and tense, driven by a pronounced salinity that harnesses and contains the ripe flavours of apricot, white peach, and nectarine. - Peter Liem

GRAND CRU "VERZENAY" 2018

"The 2018 Extra Brut Verzenay Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru is from two Pinot Noir parcels in Verzenay, namely Les Corettes and Les Champs St. Martin, fermented in barrel with tirage under natural cork. The first waxy notion on the nose, polished red apple skin, followed by white pepper and buttery short crust pastry. The palate is taut and focused, showing beautiful depth and resonance of earth and serene plum. Despite the relative youth of the wine and the warm year, this has drive and energy as well as traction from pleasantly bitter phenolics. Rather mouthwatering and so darkly seductive. Zero dosage." 92 points - Anne Krebiehl, Vinous.

This results in a champagne with a sleek, energetic structure, characterized not only by typical red-fruit flavours, but also yellow fruits like peach and apricot, underlined by citrus notes that veer towards grapefruit or pomelo." - Peter Liem
