Domaine Yvon Clerget - Bourgogne Aligote 2024

Thibaud Clerget took over the family Domaine in 2015, one of the oldest family owned Domaine in the village. Thibaud initiates the rebirth of one of Volnay’s little treasure of a Domaine. Only 6 hectares of vineyards located within the best climats* of Burgundy. 

The 2024 Bourgogne Aligoté Les Coulezain comprises two barrels with 50% new oak. The bouquet has a gorgeous, really intense aroma that bursts from the glass: citrus fruit, apricot and wild peach scents. The palate is well balanced with superb depth and texture, just a bit of creamy oak on the finish that suggests it will need a year in bottle. But very good potential and quite delicious. 90-92 points - Neal Martin, Vinous.
