JEAN-LUC JAMET - COTE DU RHONE "L'ENCLAVE" 2021
Named for the fact that these vines are nearly surrounded by parcels classified as Côte Rôtie, the 2020 Cotes du Rhone l'Enclave was bottled the week before I arrived at the domaine. Yet the wine was looking good, with lovely raspberry and strawberry fruit, ample weight and richness on the palate and a long, silky finish. DOMAINE AUSTRAL - SAUMUR RED "MANTA" 2021
On the nose the Cabernet is very fruity and floral, with notes of strawberry, blackberry, mint. The palate has a fine and melted texture. It is the hallmark of the terroir combined with delicate vinification. The finish is long, fresh and chalky. 100% Cabernet Franc.
BERNARD GRIPA - SAINT-JOSEPH RED 2021
Shimmering violet colour. Primary red and blue fruit aromas, along with suggestions of olive, smoked meats and cracked pepper. Offers fleshy, appealingly sweet cherry and blackberry flavours that turn spicier and firm up through the back half. Subtly chewy tannins add grip to a long smoky finish that leaves cherry and spice notes behind. 91-93 points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous. 100% Syrah
CHATEAU LA FLEUR DES GRAVES 2019
A wine representative of the appellation “Graves de Vayres”. Rich and complex in the mouth, with red fruit aromas intertwines with vanilla, wood and delicate spice flavours. After a delicate attack, the wine grows in strength on the palate, expressing freshness and richness as well as good complex aromas. Ideal with strawberries, chocolate or obviously, red meat, poultry or game. 90-92 points, Yves Beck. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot
DOMAINE LES CREISSES - IGP PAYS D'OC "LES CREISSES" 2021
Exuberant fruit and an energetic and complex palate. Dark colour with purplish reflections. Powerful and complex nose, open to a festival of very ripe black fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant), spices (liquorice and pepper), garrigue (rosemary), leather, cocoa and mint. Exceptional density on the palate, powerful and expressive, with round and fresh tannins. Very nice length finish. 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache, 10% Cabernet-Sauvignon

Nose already open on black fruits and spices. Fine and supple tannins. Aromas of black fruits and liquorice; melted structure: a gourmet and complex wine; a “real pretty wine”! 100% Carignan.
MAISON ADVINAM - ALLUMEE ROUGE VDP
The wine is an explosion of fresh, wild red berries, sap, grilled leaves, rosemary, and orange peel with subtle notes of honey. The palate is lively, great acid with beautiful red fruits melting on the palate. The finish is clean, very pure and highly refreshing. Drink now. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon & Sémillon
DOMAINE LE PETIT SAINT VINCENT - SAUMUR WHITE "PERRUCHETS" 2022
The bouquet is delicate, with notes of pear, almond skin, grapefruit and lemon rind. On the palate, it's a very lively wine built on a silky mineral structure. Drink now or keep in the cellar up to 2026+. 100% Chenin Blanc
ROUGEOT-DUPIN - MERCUREY WHITE 2019
Very fresh, it has quite delicate fruit: limestone minerality and blossom including rose, lilac and narcissus. It has good liveliness while being full-fleshed with good, balanced body. This wine is ready to drink or may be cellared for 3 to 5 years or more. 100% Chardonnay.
DOMAINE TABORDET - POUILLY-FUME "PETITES AUBUES" 2022
Under its pale gold colour, it reveals the richness of the aromas characteristic of its appellation. The fruitiness of citrus and white fruits combines the vegetal scents of ferns and the typical minerality of flint. This inimitable “flint” aroma on the palate in a fresh and lively attack. An impressive harmony of flavours! 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
DOMAINE DE BEL-AIR - CREMANT DE BOURGOGNE METHODE TRADITIONNELLE
This Crémant has a floral, fine and elegant nose, with a delicate and fresh attack on the palate. Can age for 3 to 6 years but good to drink now. 100% Chardonnay.
DOMAINE SPARR - ALSACE PINOT BLANC "PENSEE" 2021
A ripe Pinot Blanc with stacks of orange and melon. The moderately dry tannins and lively acidity neatly balancing the ripeness. Excellent harmony at the long finish. 100% Pinot Blanc from two parcels, one on clay and one on granite. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold. 91 points, James Suckling. 100% Pinot Blanc.
