CHATEAU PEYRAT - GRAVES 2020
Ruby colour, brilliant. Spicy, fresh, toasted, blackcurrant nose. Straight on the palate, fresh, spicy, notes of nutmeg, hazelnut, fresh red fruits. The terroir is still marked by the ample, clean and spicy mouthfeel. 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
CHATEAU LA FLEUR DES GRAVES 2019
A wine representative of the appellation “Graves de Vayres”. Rich and complex in the mouth, with red fruit aromas intertwines with vanilla, wood and delicate spice flavours. After a delicate attack, the wine grows in strength on the palate, expressing freshness and richness as well as good complex aromas. Ideal with strawberries, chocolate or obviously, red meat, poultry or game. 90-92 points, Yves Beck. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot.
CHATEAU LESTAGE DARQUIER - MOULIS EN MEDOC 2020
The 2020 Lestage-Darquier has a very pure bouquet of black cherry, blueberry, raspberry preserve and light rose petal scents. The fresh palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins and subtle marine notes. Almost briny toward the finish, which just needs more length. Neal Martin. Drink now or cellar up until 2028+. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
CHATEAU LA FLEUR DES GRAVES WHITE - BORDEAUX BLANC 2020
The elegance of the wine soon manifests itself. The white/green colour comes with exotic aromas of white flower, apricot, and peach. This is a velvety Sauvignon Blanc that finishes long and full. Smooth, clean, elegant! 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Semillon, 5% Muscadelle.
MAISON ADVINAM - BOUFFONNE 2020
Juicy and velvety hermitage cuvée. Rambling scents of dark, brambly berries, aniseed, garrigue and bouquet garni. Lovely, warm kitchen compote cooking scents. Dark berry flavours, authority of sinewy, fresh tannins apparent, succulent, long and fine finish. Feels fancy but unadorned where fruit does the work over winemaking. Such a beautiful, beautiful wine. 95 Points - Mike Bennie, Wine Front. Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon from Graves. Syrah from Roussillon.
CHATEAU LE COTEAU - MARGAUX 2019
From the southwest reaches of the appellation, the 2019 Le Coteau is a juicy, plump Margaux that should drink well right out of the gate. Ripe dark cherry, red plum, tobacco, liquorice and incense all meld together. This is an especially juicy, fruity style. I especially admire the wine's balance. Antonio Galloni, Vinous. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
