Based in the heart of the Rasteau appellation of Rhône, Domaine du Trapadis has been owned and run by the Charavin family since 1850. Helen Durand, the current owner, is the fourth generation of the Charavin family to grow grapes upon these soils. Spanning 35 hectares, the domaine’s vineyards are grown under the appellations of AOP Rasteau, AOP Rasteau VDN, AOP CDRV Cairanne, AOP CDRV Roaix, AOP CDR, and Vin de France.
L'ESPRIT VDF ROUGE 2022
A bouquet of red fruit comes out in an open and immediate nose. The palate is fruity and intense with redcurrant and raspberry over a multi-dimensional layering of somewhat chewy tannins and a supple finish. There's fun hints of Mediterranean herbs and bright minerality that helps keep this wine fresh and zippy. 100% Grenache.
COTE DU RHONE ROAIX "PERRIERES" 2022
The Côtes du Rhône villages offers an intense, purple colour. The nose is rich in aromas, forest fruits, redcurrant, blackberry, spices, and black olives offer a very complex expression. The palate is airy and very well constructed, with fragrant notes, without ever being heavy. The tannins are supple and delicate. Intense finish on spices. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah.
RASTEAU ROUGE "LES ADRES" 2019
A blend of 80% Grenache with 10% each Carignan and Mourvèdre, the 2018 Rasteau les Adres comes largely from the commune's slope. A tenth is aged in barrel, while the rest stays in concrete for 18 months. Hints of black olive and licorice accent raspberry fruit in this tight, taut wine. It's medium to full-bodied, with silky-ripe tannins and a lively, fresh-tasting finish. 90-92 points, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate. (2018 review). 70% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 10% Mouvedre.
COTE DU RHONE BLANC "P'TITE COTE" 2022
A white Grenache full of freshness and fruit. It is a full-bodied and opulent white with low acidity. This sweetness allows us to produce natural wines, with a beautiful roundness and a long finish. 100% Grenache Blanc.
COTE DU RHONE BLANC "LES PLANS" 2022
Rare to find a pure version of this vine, here characterized on the nose by aromas of ripe fruit, especially pear, peach and grapefruit peel, surrounded by light aromas of aromatic herbs. On the palate it presents itself as decisive, slim and clean, leaving a deep mineral memory: its authorial signature. 100% Grenache Blanc.
VIN DOUX NATUREL RASTEAU "GRENAT RED" 2022 500ml
Notes of black berries (blueberry, blackcurrant) and flowers (violet). On the palate, it surprises with its finesse, its natural expression and its greediness, with this fruit coulis side. The peppery finish is irresistible! 90% Grenache & 10% Carignan
