Champagne Girard-Bonnet - Au Bout du Chemin Premier Cru NV

Paul Girard embodies both of his parents’ ancestry and brings new life to Chardonnay through a stunning selection of Côte des Blanc Champagnes. Merging the Girard & Bonnet Estates in Mesnil sur Oger he works towards creating a grower-maker brand in honour of his origins. This cuvee is 50% vintage harvest, 50% reserve wines.

The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Au Bout du Chemin (2021), 100% Chardonnay from Vertus, is steely, vibrant and full of tension. Grapefruit, white flowers, slate and mint all race across the palate. Chalky mineral notes enliven the saline-drenched finish. This release is based on 2021, with reserve wines. Dosage 3g/l. 93 points - Antonio Galloni, Vinous.
