All the expertise and the philosophy of Château Lagrange are applied in the making of this Haut-Médoc. In the neighbouring villages of Saint Laurent-Médoc and Cussac-Fort-Médoc, this vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot represents around 13 hectares, planted on gravelly and clay soil, oriented East-West. The subsoil is of clay and limestone. The climate is temperate and oceanic.

The 2020 Pagus de Lagrange is a bold, fruity Maut-Medoc that will drink well with minimal cellaring. Although note hugely complex, the 2020 is juicy, generous and wonderfully inviting. Black cherry, tobacco, liquorice and leather linger. Best of all, this should be quite the steal. 90 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous.
