Domaine le Petit St Vincent - Saumur-Champigny "Les Poyeux" 2020 

On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits mingle with light hints of cocoa and truffle. The palate is harmonious and velvety. There is a lot of concentration in this wine but it is nonetheless very ethereal. 100% Cabernet Franc.

Bernard Gripa - Saint-Joseph Red 2022 

The 2022 Saint-Joseph showcases ripe red plum, crushed violets, graphite and liquorice gradations. Medium-bodied and full of energy, the 2022 hits the palate with excellent focus and concentration. Framed by ripe yet totally polished tannins, this is a gorgeous Saint-Joseph with secure ageing potential. 93 points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous. Drink now by decanting for at least 45 minutes, or cellar until 2031. 100% Syrah.

Domaine Les Creisses "Les Brunes" - IGP Pays D'Oc 2020 

Les Brunes 2020 has wonderful depth of dark, sweet fruit flavours, with black cherry and blackcurrant dominating on the nose. Cedar and cinnamon flavours evolve on the palate, with intense concentration of black fruits balancing well with the rounded, juicy tannins. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah.

Maison Advinam - La Donna 2019 

The nose is very pretty, with flavours of violette flower, delicate red and blueberry fruits and nuanced spicy notes. The palate has a very silky attack, concentrated and powerful, it lingers with plenty of aromatic complexity. This is a remarkably well crafted wine by Anne Buiatti. Drink now by decanting for 35 minutes or cellar up to 2028+. 100% Syrah.

Domaine Sparr - Pinot Noir "Amour Interdit" 2021 

A powerful and seriously structured pinot noir with impressive concentration for the difficult vintage. Tons of rooty depth and a very healthy tannin structure. The finish is long and harmonious with subtle chalky character. The wine is called forbidden love, because this pinot noir comes from the Grand Cru Mambourg site, but it is illegal to put those words on the label. 60 year old vines. 93pts - James Suckling. 100% Pinot Noir.

Domaine Pernot Pere & Fils - Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 

A full deep fruit with a nutty note, then a suave almost velvety follow through. Dark red raspberry notes with good length. Drink from 2026-2030. 88-91pts, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. 100% Pinot Noir.
