Champagne Dehours - "Oeil de Perdrix" Rosé Extra Brut NV

The "Oeil de Perdix" Extra Brut NV is a fruity Rosé, vibrant, with plenty of pleasure to be drunk. 

Dehours Champagnes are eagerly sought after by champagne enthusiasts for their renowned 'Meunier style'; bold, flavourful and demonstrating a clear terroir-orientated approach. The Oeil de Perdrix (Partridge eye’s colour) is fruity, round and very delicate. The red berries on the nose are sustained by a lovely citrus backbone. The palate is silky and rich with a composed energy, fresh and clean on the finish. It can be drunk now. It can be paired with fruits salads, as an aperitif or with grilled king prawns.

The NV Extra Brut Oeil de Pedrix is one of the most exquisite, finessed wines I have tasted from Dehours. A touch of still red Pinot Noir adds colour and depth, but it is the silkiness of the mousse that impresses me most in this this tasting. 94 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous.

Mostly Pinot Meunier with a little bit of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Extra Brut, no dosage.
