Domaine Yvon Clerget - Bourgogne Chardonnay 2023

Thibaud Clerget took over the family Domaine in 2015, one of the oldest family owned Domaine in the village. Thibaud initiates the rebirth of one of Volnay’s little treasure of a Domaine. Only 6 hectares of vineyards located within the best climats* of Burgundy. The Bourgogne Chardonnay is made with several vineyards located in Meursault.

From the En Coulezain vineyard, downstream from Volnay, it was vinified and aged in four used barrels, with minimal stirring of the lees, to ensure freshness is maintained. It has a straw yellow colour, open and lively aromas, intense and tight flavours and a harmonious aftertaste. A Bourgogne Blanc that is absolutely worth tasting. 100% Chardonnay.
