Domaine Yvon Clerget - Bourgogne Aligote 2022

Thibaud Clerget took over the family Domaine in 2015, one of the oldest family owned Domaine in the village. Thibaud initiates the rebirth of one of Volnay’s little treasure of a Domaine. Only 6 hectares of vineyards located within the best climats* of Burgundy. 

The 2022 Bourgogne Aligote Les Coulezain is a new cuvee from Clerget's acquired Domaine, matured in 50% new oak. There is quite a bit of fatness on the nose, honeyed with touches of mango and dried peach. The palate is rounded in texture, again, quite honeyed to the point where you might imagine there is some botrytis. Soft and viscous finish. Neal Martin, Vinous.
