CHAMPAGNE FRERES MIGNON - L'AVENTURE EXTRA BRUT NV

The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs L'Aventure Premier Cru was harvested in Avize, Cramant and Cuis and spent 26 months on lees. Lemony brightness appears first on the nose of this pale wine. The palate is juicy and lithe, pervaded by frothy, youthful foam that disperses this lemony freshness. Only subtle chalk appears and just an edge of autolysis by way of polenta and yet provides resonance, balanced, sunny fruit takes center stage. Dosage is 1.6gr/L. SAMUEL BILLAUD - CHABLIS 2023

A blend of Samuel’s three excellent terroirs, Les Pargues, Cartes-Fontenottes, and Bas de Chapelot. Pale colour. A very classic nose, not too pungently marine, with a depth of fruit, clean clear cut white fruit with a real crispness to finish. The lees work is exemplary. Drink from 2025-2028. 90-92 points - Jasper Morris. 100% Chardonnay.

DOMAINE GAVOTY - ROSE "CLARENDON" 2022

Pale pink hue, with a subtle nose of rose and white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, fat and volume support the fresh fruit with refinement. It is full and crystalline, with its aromas of fruit as well as its voluptuousness. It brings contrast with its elegant freshness, perfect wine for the table. Drink now. 70% Grenache, 30% Cinsault.

MEE GODARD - MORGON "GRAND CRAS" 2023

Welcome to the deep end of Morgon, where forest-berry aromas meet wet earth. Understated power and concentration are married to a certain austerity. The superfine tannins deftly carry the very long and refined finish. Drink or hold. 96 points - James Suckling. 100% Gamay.

DOMAINE TESSIER - BOURGOGNE CHARDONNAY "CHAMP PERRIER" 2023

Distinctly golden colour with slight silver reflections. Refined aroma of pears, plums, almonds and freshly churned butter is in perfect balance with the taste of the wine. In the mouth it is very fresh, round and silky, with a varied palate of flavours and pronounced minerality. The finish of this refined and complex wine is very long. 100% Chardonnay.

DOMAINE AUSTRAL - SAUMUR RED "V" 2019

Suave and ripe tannins, with perfect integration which offers a super silky touch on the palate first of all. An aromatic, then, of an impacting sharpness and depth, on the basket of ripe red fruits and a floral touch on the very charming peony. And finally, an ideal balance, perfect symbiosis between accomplished maturity of the Cabernet while keeping a beautiful burst of fruit and freshness. 100% Cabernet Franc.

DOMAINE SPARR - PINOT BLANC "PENSEE" 2023

This excellent Alsace pinot blanc combines impressive substance with good freshness and enough citrus zest aromas to be very animating, the little touch of tannin underlining this very neatly in then long, dry finish. VIGNOBLES BERTHIER - VDF INSTANT SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

A laid-back, fruity and supple sauvignon blanc. Notes of fresh lemons, mild spices and aromatic herbs. It’s medium-bodied with a soft character and a short, salivating finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. 89 points - James Suckling. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

DOMAINE DU BOUCHT - POUILLY-FUME "CAILLOTTES" 2021

The richly fragrant 2021 Caillottes offers dill, fennel and elderflower at this early stage. Having undergone full malo and remained on lees for 12 months, it has a round and creamy texture while retaining the natural freshness of the vintage with an appealing line of acidity and chalky, almost tannic grip. 92 points - Rebecca Gibb, Vinous. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

CHATEAU MAGNAN LA GAFFELIERE - SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU 2018

Very compacted and dense with chewy and fine tannins. Full-bodied yet reserved and fine. Long finish. Big improvement here. 93-94 points - James Suckling. 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

DOMAINE LE PETIT SAINT VINCENT - SAUMUR-CHAMPIGNY "PELO" 2022

Deep, garnet color. Aromas of small red and black fruits (redcurrant, blueberry, blackcurrant). Fresh, persistent, slightly spicy and mouthwatering on the palate. Beautiful minerality from the Saumur limestone "Tuffeau". 100% Cabernet Franc.

ROUGEOT - BOURGOGNE PASSETOUTGRAIN "VERCHERRES" NATURE 2023

A 50/50 blend of pinot and gamay vinified together in one big wooden tank, in bottle since April with no sulphur additions. Medium crimson purple. Gorgeously explosive, with an exciting dark raspberry and peony character and excellent acidity - to taste but not at all by analysis. Very clean. Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Gamay.
