This bouquet is lively and energetic with bright red berries with lively phenolics. The palate is bone dry with delectable red fruits, herbaceous green peppers and pretty bubbles. This wine is showing spectacular fresh flavours of apple, blackcurrant bud, kiwi and subtle wet stone. On the palate the aromatic explodes with numerous layers of fruits driven by a mouth-watering acidity.  It can be paired with oysters and seafood or the Loire Valley’s famous Chavignol goat cheese. It is perfect to drink now. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

On the nose, the beautiful and elegant fruits give way to delicate notes of dry herbs with airy flavours of strawberry and blackcurrant. The palate is structured with fine tannins for a medium to long finish. It can be enjoyed at a barbecue, with lamb cutlets, white meat and slightly chilled with cheese. Drink now or keep in the cellar up to 2020+. 100% Cabernet Franc.

This wine is widely considered by critics to be in the pantheon of Chinon wines; the nose is full and complex with notes of dark fruit, fresh coffee beans, subtle vanilla and pepper. The taste is full bodied and refined with firm tannins. It can be paired with game dishes, beef stew and strong cheeses. This amazing wine could be cellared for more than ten years. However, you can drink this wine sooner by decanting for 45 minutes before serving. 100% Cabernet Franc.

The Grolleau is an autochtone varietal from Anjou and also the oldest vines at Clau de Nell at 90 years of age. The nose has a lovely fresh pepper spice, and some fresh raspberry and red cherry. The palate is very lively, fruity with delicate spices. You can drink it now by decanting it for 20 minutes or cellar up to 2028+. It goes well with charcuterie, lamb racks, beef and cow cheeses. 100% Grolleau.
