The Bourgogne Passetoutgrain "Les Vercherres" is a silky, fruity offering with subtle spice notes.

The “Les Vercherres” climat is located in the northern climes of Meursault, one kilometre away from the famed Premier Cru “Les Santenots”. A classic blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, this is organically farmed, hand-harvested together and eventually co-fermented. The vines range from 40-70 years old and are situated on clay-limestone soils. It is vinified with 100% whole clusters, natural yeast and no sulphur during vinification or elevage. Fermentation occurs in concrete tanks, with 15-18 days of maceration, and one to two pump-overs per day. Aged in 600-litre barrels for 12 months on its fine lees.

The wine embodies balance, with cherry and red-berried fruit tones preceding lovely spice notes. It’s light-bodied, demonstrating remarkable elegance and is perfect for consuming upon release or for cellaring for one or two years. Drink now with roast chicken, crispy pork belly, pork roast or rabbit terrine. 1/3 Gamay, 2/3 Pinot Noir.
