TASTING NOTES

  • 2 x Beaujolais Villages - "Les Granits Bleus" 2020

The Beaujolais-Villages “Granits Bleus” is a bright ruby colour. Aromas of dark berries and cherry, plus a hint of spiciness in the background. Supple and open-knit, offering bitter cherry and blackberry flavours that tighten up slowly with air. Closes smooth and jammy, with good, dark-fruit-tinged persistence. 100% Gamay.

  • 1 x Beaujolais Blanc 2020 750ml $39

The bouquet opens up with white orchard, fresh white peach, citrus notes and light butter flavours. On the palate, the attack is round and charming with plenty of freshness to lift up all these aromas. Drink now. 100% Chardonnay.

  • 1 x Fleurie "Granits Roses" 2019 750ml $48

This wine is seductive, showing notes of fresh cherry, cherry stalk, minerality and hints of violet. The palate is refined, with soft and silky tannins. Drink now or cellar it up until 2027+. 100% Gamay.

  • 1 x Morgon "les Charmes" 2020 750ml $48

The Morgon “Les Charmes” shows some precise notes of cherry, peach and plum. The palate is structured with bold and silky tannins and is also driven by a very distinctive minerality. It is ready to drink if decanted 30 minutes before serving. It can also be cellared up until 2027+. 100% Gamay.

  • 1 x Moulin a Vent "Les Burdelines" 2018 750ml $46

The nose is extremely complex with floral notes, dry leaves, and faded rose melding with some ripe black fruits. This wine is muscly and has long length on the palate. It can be enjoyed in its youth by decanting it 30 minutes before serving or cellared up until 2026. 100% Gamay.
