Tasteful Trio of Chardonnay
DOMAINE ROUGEOT - MONTHÉLIE "LES TOISIÈRES" 2018
On the nose it displays complex flavours of melon, apple and fresh young hazelnuts. The palate is elegant yet powerful, showcasing crunchy fresh apples and white stone fruit followed by a saline profile and toasted hazelnut edge. It’s drinking deliciously now with a 35-minute decant before serving, and will age till 2025.
DOMAINE ROUGEOT - SAINT-ROMAIN "LA COMBE BAZIN" 2018
"A nose that once more reminds of the 6 ouvrées – perhaps sitting between that and the Monthelie. Full, supple, a good drive to this flavour, delivering mouth-watering citrus notes, long, long. Super!" Bill Nanson, Burgundy Report
ROUGEOT-DUPIN - BOURGOGNE CHARDONNAY 2019
The wine has a subtle nose of white stone fruit, fresh hazelnut, almond and hint of butter. It’s perfect to open when it’s young, in its first one to four years.
