PERNOT PERE & FILS - GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN 2021

Aged in normal size barrels with 20% new wood. A light crimson purple. The fruit is livelier than Croix Violettes. Good vines at the Brochon end, a lively raspberry fruit. Slightly saline finish with a little firmness to the tannins which will sort themselves out with time. Drink from 2025-2028. 89pts, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy.

ROUGEOT-DUPIN - MONTAGNY 1ER CRU 2021

The first nose is powerful with notes of brioche, fresh oak, and vanilla. The underlying white peach and citrus notes are refreshing a beautifully rich and comforting wine. On the palate, the medium bodied Montagny 1er cru is showcasing its pedigree with ease. It’s a long and rich finish, with enough minerality to bring a tasty finesse. Drink now or cellar up to 2027+.

Standing at the crossroads of latitude 47° North and longitude 3° East our latest Chablis producer, Guillaume Michaut, cultivates three confidential plots in the heart of Chablis. This Petit Chablis is the expression of a mosaic or terroirs. The clay-limestone and white marl soils offer it a mineral and chiselled breadth.
