- Chateau Maison Blanche - Montagne-Saint-Emilion 2019
Maison Blanche is intense and ripe on the nose, very expressive. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with a beautiful silky tannic structure that will allow a long cellaring for those who can wait before enjoying it. Complex, long in length, and beautiful!. Drink now or cellar up to 2028+. 45% Merlot, 55% Cabernet Franc.
- Chateau Barrail du Blanc - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2014
On the nose, Chateau Barrail du Blanc opens to a subtle nose of red fruits basket, raspberry, blackcurrant then earthy notes such as sandalwood, dry leaves, mild spices. The palate is elegant, with dark cherry, tar with a silky structure and a powerful final. It can be drunk now or cellared until 2023+. 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc.
- Chateau Lestage Darquier - Moulis en Medoc 2019
The nose opens up with hints of spices, torrefied coffee beans, fresh blackcurrant and blackberries. It is rich and vibrant at the same time. On the palate, the balance is striking with ample mouth-feel, silky lines and some fresh fruits melting in the delicately infused oak flavours. Drink now or cellar up until 2026+. 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
- Chateau Magnan la Gaffeliere - Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2019
Very compacted and dense with chewy and fine tannins. Full-bodied yet reserved and fine. Long finish. Big improvement here.93-94 points, James Suckling (2016 revew). 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
