CHAMPAGNE DEHOURS

The Dehours’ Estate makes wines from the family vineyards, following methods of production that respect biodiversity (working the ground and allowing grass to grow between the vines). The wines are eagerly sought after by Champagne enthusiasts for their renowned 'Meunier style'; bold, flavourful and demonstrating a clear terroir-orientated approach.

“I have a few beliefs: the respect of natural elements and their expression, the importance of detail. History and passionate commitment give a soul to the wine… The manner matters as much as the result.” - Jérôme Dehours

  • JÉRÔME DEHOURS - GRAND RESERVE BRUT NV

Upon tasting, you’ll understand how the characteristics of the Pinot Meunier grape have become inextricably linked to the identity of this iconic vineyard. The colour is a luxurious soft gold in the glass with a vibrant bouquet of bright orange and lemon citrus, ripe apricot, pears, pine resin, wax and toasted brioche. The palate is vibrant and jolly, featuring apple pie, white and yellow stone fruit, cinnamon and vanilla spice. The dynamic mouthfeel and bubbles are silky smooth with delicious minerals lingering on the finish.

“Dehours is increasingly becoming better known among champagne aficionados as a source of mouth-filling, boldly-flavored and terroir-expressive wines.” - Peter Liem, Champagne Guide

CHAMPAGNE PIERRE PAILLARD

At Champagne Pierre Paillard, Benoit and his sons, Antoine and Quentin, are custodians of an eight-generation-old family business; passionately crafting Champagne with extreme finesse. Their 10 hectares under vine are ideally located in the village of Bouzy and produce only Grand Cru offerings.

“Wow! Of all the producers I have met and the wines I have tasted during my Champagne tour in April and May this year, the cuvées from Champagne Pierre Paillard were among the most stunning.” – Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate (Aug 2018)

  • CHAMPAGNE PIERRE PAILLARD – BOUZY GRAND CRU "LES PARCELLES" NV

"Les Parcelles" is a blend of different grape varietals and vintages. This excellent Bouzy Grand Cru celebrates every element of winemaking. The "Les Parcelles" is exclusively a Grand Cru blend featuring 30% of reserve wine and the 2019 base wine (70%). It is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and of 30% Chardonnay.

The level of sophistication, plus the complexity and the finesse is an endless pleasure. The "Les Parcelles" spends four years in Domaine Pierre Paillard’s deep cellar at 10 degrees to mature and gain tiny, silky bubbles, while developing the house style. This Champagne is sophisticated, versatile and ready to drink.

CHAMPAGNE GIRARD-BONNET

Located in the Grand Cru village of Les Mesnil sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Paul Girard is bringing together the vines and traditions of the Girard & Bonnet estates. As a passionate young winemaker, he is bringing organic & biodynamic principles into his brand new Grand Cru Champagnes.

  • CHAMPAGNE GIRARD-BONNET – A MI-CHEMIN GRAND CRU NV

The NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs A Mi-Chemin is fabulous. Bright, energetic and wonderfully finessed, the A Mi-Chemin impresses with its fine overall balance. Crushed rocks, spice, dried flowers, herbs and citrus oil infuse the A Mi-Chemin with tons of nuance as well as complexity. I admire the transparent energy and precision here. Best of all, this should be a terrific value. 92 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous.
